Auto-Immune Conditions

I have Sjogrens Syndrome, an unusual life-long auto-immune condition, which causes severe dry eyes.

I was in great discomfort before I decided to try acupuncture with Stephen.  I went into the treatment with a great deal of scepticism but was desperate to find any anything that might offer some relief.

After a few weekly sessions my eyes gradually started improving and now, 6 months later, are about 70% better.  I am only having acupuncture once a month now and will definitely continue on with it as it has helped me so much.  I still don’t profess to understand how acupuncture works, but it has certainly helped me and I would definitely recommend that you at least give it a try if conventional medicine has failed to help your contition.

I have been having acupuncture for a number of years to help with the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The MS affects me so that my health has been slowly deteriorating over time. I am dependant upon an electric wheelchair to get around.

I have found Stephen's acupuncture to be virtually painless.

I know the acupuncture cannot cure me, but I believe it has helped me enormously to cope with the symptoms I have. In particular, I found the acupuncture helps to give me energy I know I wouldn't have otherwise.

Also it is a very relaxing therapy and helps me to cope with the stress of being chronically ill. I sleep well without medication nor do I need drugs to help with my mood. I also find the acupuncture helps with my bladder control.

Stephen is a caring practitioner and is a pleasure to see. He is cheerful and uplifting - a real tonic.
